CHRISTIAN SERVICE BRIGADE is the local church reaching out to the community through their men by Winning and Training Boys for Christ. To do this, the local church prayerfully determines their commitment in building the next generation of men. In partnership with CSB Ministries, they then recruit and develop men who can faithfully disciple boys and teenage guys to be solid servants of the Lord Jesus Christ.

FOR BOYS
Men winning and training boys and young men for Christ. It’s been that simple since 1937 when an 18-year-old college freshman started a mid-week club for his Sunday School boys’ class. His purpose was to give the boys a place to apply what they had learned on Sunday. This has been a part of CSB ever since.
This ain’t Sunday School! Admittedly, this doesn’t have the appeal that a pastor or church leadership team may want, but Brigade sure attracts the guys. And, that attraction is a big factor in getting good adult men involved in serving in their church, too.
Every boy wants to be a MAN! The person most qualified to show a boy what it means to be a man is a man, so said Dr James Dobson in his book Bringing Up Boys. Boys want to be accepted, they want action and they want knowledge. Men want the same things, so CSB brings boys and men together to explore God’s world in a Christ-centred context.

CSB MEN’S NETWORK
Every church has a ministry to men. In some churches, it’s a well-oiled machine that is geared to involve every man of every generation at least once a month. In others, it’s a group of guys who just say “Hi” to each other every Sunday in the church foyer. But for most churches, men’s ministry is an occasional breakfast where men can enjoy each others company.
CSB Canada wants to equip your church’s men’s ministry to reach out to every one of your men! How DO We Do It? TOGETHER! You, us and our network partners.
No one has all the answers. Every Men’s Ministry is different. But, when we come together, you may discover that what’s working for them can work for you.
CSB Canada, the CSB Men’s Network, along with our Iron Sharpens Iron Conference partners, are uniquely qualified to help churches build their ministries to men. Training is available through qualified and experienced representatives.
