Program Overview
At Pacific Academy, we’ve long believed that knowledge and wisdom are two very important, yet very different things that are inextricably intertwined. Knowledge comes from an academic environment where students are challenged to work hard toward a standard of excellence in order to reach their fullest potential. And wisdom comes from maturity – both spiritual and emotional. A wise person both understands and acts on the insights provided by a faith-based education.
IB Diploma Programme
For PA students in grades 11 and 12, we offer the opportunity to enroll in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. This rigorous academic curriculum is for the curious, highly organized student who loves learning.
IB is strongly motivated by their mission to create a better world through education. As a result, students who participate are encouraged to, in the words of IB, “promote intercultural understanding and respect, not as an alternative to a sense of cultural and national identity, but as an essential part of life in the 21st Century.”
Outreach
We believe that as Christians, we can talk about “loving our neighbor” and “fulfilling the great commission” as much as we like, but until we do it, it does nothing for others or ourselves. That’s why we make service and outreach a part of the lives of every student – from junior kindergarten through grade 12 – at Pacific Academy.

Pacific Academy has been the perfect fit for our son, Samuel. They have used a positive and nurturing approach that has met his unique learning needs, and he has thrived in this wonderful environment. His enthusiasm towards academics and belief that he can succeed can only be attributed to the experience and child specific planning on behalf of the staff. They include the parents in the planning process as well, so that we are a team working together, and we have achieved results that we never thought possible for our son.

Despite the fact we drive all the way from Vancouver (sometimes many times a day because of activities, etc.) we never stop thanking God for allowing our three children to be a part of Pacific Academy... It's a short distance compared to the great lengths Pacific Academy regularly goes for our kids.
