River’s Edge Wellness blends science and natural forms of medicine in order to focus on the body as a whole. The hybrid approach attempts to remedy the root of the health problem, rather than reacting to its varying symptoms.
Natural healthcare also activates the body’s natural healing processes. Our bodies are constantly working to maintain equilibrium and safe biological levels. Sometimes these levels are disrupted and the body needs its innate processes to be restored again via natural medicine and treatments. Our focus on the biology and innate innerworkings of human systems give us a well-rounded perspective on restorative care and therapy. Not to mention, our commitment to our clients is to provide the best quality, natural and non-invasive therapy solutions in an environment that fosters trust and comfort. A trustworthy atmosphere enables our clients to achieve optimal health and wellness.
In addition to providing primary care, our practice also compliments the services of other health care professionals, resulting in a complete treatment paradigm. With over 13 years experience and the establishment of two clinics, we have helped set hundreds of clients on the road to optimal health.
We serve clients throughout Eastern Ontario, with locations in Belleville and Johnstown (Prescott). Our clinics provide convenient access from Highways 401 and 416 helping us reach clients from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to the Ottawa Valley.

Amy, owner of River's Edge Wellness, is a Certified Natural Health Care Practitioner who is passionate about helping people lead healthier lives, naturally. Amy's passion for natural health began in 2004 when her infant daughter, Mercedes, was plagued with 6 months of debilitating ear infections where traditional medicine was not successful. This resulted in her daughter having significant hearing loss and very poor health who previously was the spitting image of a healthy, happy child. Desperate to help her daughter and avoid future surgeries and her continual decline in health, Amy's hours of research lead her to find hope in natural health modalities. Within a very short time of implementing natural and herbal supplements into her daughters diet, Mercedes health did a miraculous turn around and Amy made a commitment to spend the rest of her life serving others to a healthier lifestyle.
