WHAT IS LIVING HOPE?
Living Hope is Jesus Christ! The name Living Hope is from the Bible, 1 Peter 1:3 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a LIVING HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” In the world we live in, Hope is often understood and described as wishful thinking. Pastor Peter & Jemima Paul both have been serving the Lord since 1991. They started with Campus Crusade for Christ Pakistan. In 1998, Pastor Peter Paul served as the Regional Director of Province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. Pastor Jemima was the National Prayer Coordinator for Campus Crusade for Christ in Pakistan. Lord used them mightily through various seminars, Sunday school and youth programs, healing crusades, creative evangelism through sports, games and also through Jesus film distribution.
Due to religious persecution, Pastor Peter Paul had to leave Pakistan along with his family. The Lord gave him vision to plant a Church in Greater Toronto Area. Cornerstone Asian Church was established in 2006. Lord extended the vision to use media to “reach to the unreached”. Pastor Peter & Jemima Paul started a television program in the year 2010 titled Zinda Umeed (Living Hope). In 2020, Lord extended the vision to start LIVING HOPE TV channel committed to producing and providing quality Christian media.
