About Robert:

Change, Challenge, Community; three words that capture the essence of who I am. Serving St. Thomas and the surrounding community through Edward Jones since 2014, I previously had a lengthy career and over one million miles of safe driving as a truck driver. Talk about change and challenge!

Originally from the small northern Ontario town of Espanola, I grew up with seven sisters. I now proudly call St. Thomas my home where my wife, Andrea, and I raise our three daughters. Growing up, my dad would take me on countless outdoor adventures and now I make memories with my daughters that include camping and snowmobiling.

As a dad, it’s important for me to set an example. In 2006 I was heavily in debt and bordering on bankruptcy. Equipped with a fresh resolve I was committed to using proven principles to reverse the financial course. After 27 months of dedication, the challenge was met; we were debt free. My next step was to transition from the truck driving life to being a present dad.

Experiencing financial freedom spurred me on to helping others control their money without money controlling them. Working with Edward Jones with each of my clients, I bring Wall Street to Main Street.

Being engaged locally is key. I actively support local charities both financially and with giving my time to support organizations such as Youth for Christ, and my local church. I am also a proud member of the Chamber of Commerce and participate in many charity golf tournaments during our summers.
