Kevin Martens’ career began in his father’s funeral home while he was still in high school: washing cars, cleaning the funeral home, driving the hearse and assisting in most areas of the business. Following high school, he began his fulltime career in funeral service at Yewchin’s funeral Chapel in St. Paul, Alberta, completing his apprenticeship in Edmonton before returning to Saskatchewan with his wife Charmaine to work at Martens’ Funeral Home in Warman. Noting the profound growth and expansion in the region, Kevin opened his own location, Cherished Memories in Martensville. In 2019, Kevin Martens chose to carry on the tradition of honouring families, and sharing their loved ones’ stories at his family’s locations in both Warman and Martensville, by purchasing Martens’ Funeral Home in Warman from his parents.

Alongside his wife Charmaine and their four sons, Kevin Martens is proud to carry on his family’s legacy and tradition of integrity, kindness, and compassion, while delivering the best service at affordable prices. Over the years, Kevin has maneuvered and evolved with the changes in the industry, as well as his family businesses, without losing sight of his top priority: helping families heal. He constantly strives for excellence, finding new and better ways to serve families through one of the most difficult times in their lives.
