John Benesh B.A., B.Comm., LL.B.
John Received his Bachelor of Laws from the U. of S in Saskatoon. He also received his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts in Economics (cum Laude) from the U. of S. He is certified by the Law Society of Saskatchewan as a mediator. Mediation Services are Provided by John as an alternate dispute resolution in all areas including custody, access, maintenance and property division in the area of family law, shareholders and partnership disputes in the area of corporate law, employment grievances or termination in the area of labor law, as well as disputes in other areas.
John's involvements include: Rotary (President 1993-94, Paul Harris Fellow Multiple), BBB - Better Business Bureau of Saskatchewan, SBA - Sutherland Business Association (President 1993), Knights of Columbus, Catholic Family Services (1985-91Board Member), Saskatoon Association for Community Living (1991-93 Board Member). John is involved with his family in the community, school and church.
The firm recognizes the demands of having to balance family life with career and we provide our associates with the flexibility to accommodate the demands of a busy and active family.
John's practice is not limited to any particular area and is involved in all areas of law including business law. Cases in which he has been involved have resulted in unique and innovative development of the changing law.
David Samuel, B.A. Spec. Hons, J.D.
David received his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan (2010). He also received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology (cum Laude) from York University (2006). His practice is focused on litigation, mainly in family law. David is also certified collaborative lawyer, and he also provides mediation services. Thus far, he has provided mediation services for SGI, as well as in other areas including family law, and corporate litigation.
David is involved in the following community roles:

Sask Sport Appeal Panel - decision-maker
Federal Department of Justice Family Law Information Centre -volunteer family law information provider

Ling Ma LL.B.; J.D.
Ling obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2015. She also received her Bachelor of Laws from Jilin University in 1999. Ling’s practice is focused primarily on corporate/commercial matters, real estate and business transactions, civil litigation, and employment law.
Ling is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
In her spare time, Ling enjoys golf, hiking, and playing tennis. She has been involved in community services as a member of the Board of Revision, City of Saskatoon (2017-2018), Vice President of School Community Council, Evan Hardy Collegiate (2017-2018), and a board of director at Jubilee Residences from June 2023 (2-year term)
Arielle G.L. Benesh, B.A. Hons; J.D.
Arielle is a student-at-law, returning to Benesh Bitz & Company to complete her articling year following her previous position as a paralegal and term as a summer student. Arielle completed her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in April of 2020. She also completed her Bachelor of Arts four-year in Business Economics (cum Laude) from the University of Saskatchewan. Arielle plans to develop a general practice, supported by her paralegal experience in real estate, wills, estates, and corporate law.
Arielle is trilingual. She graduated high school with a bilingual certificate in French and she spent a year in Neiva, Colombia through a Rotary youth exchange where she learned to speak Spanish fluently.
Outside of law, Arielle is a licensed soccer coach working with Lakewood community and Whitecaps Academy. She is a board member of a charitable organization, Saskatchewan Alternative Initiatives, since 2017 (vice-president 2019-2020). And she enjoys staying active: playing co-ed rec sports including soccer and slo-pitch; and snowboarding in the mountains.
