North Okanagan Junior Academy is looking for a part time secretary/administrative assistant for the 2023-2024 school year. Duties would include answering phones, responding to emails, collecting payments, data entry, filing, and other office work as needed by the administration. We are looking for someone who is personable, organized, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable with using computers and technology. The position would be for 2-3 days a week. ELEMENTARY TEACHER WANTED!
North Okanagan Junior Academy is looking for a lower elementary teacher to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. NOJA is a K-9 school located 15 minutes outside of the town of Armstrong in the Okanagan Valley. Armstrong is a friendly community with a beautiful trails network, bustling downtown core and peaceful family-friendly atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will:
hold a Bachelor of Educator Degree
be eligible for BC and NAD certification
be able to legally work in Canada
be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
be passionate about teaching children in a creative, collaborative and engaging manner
be organized and able to use the BC provincial learning objectives to create lesson and unit plans that are imaginative, project-based and comprehensive.
